The place started as a 1 room log cabin that was added to many times over the years.

In 2021 we stripped the place to its bones and updated everything while keeping what was cool about the place. We think the result is a cabin with all the character you could want and all the modern features of a true luxury vacation venue. You should take the time to walk the miracle mile. A street that is lined with trees that canopy the road and views of the lake that are just beautiful. You can spend evenings by the rock fire pit with a waterfall feature or on the swing porch that is lake front. You may want to relax in the copper lined bubble infused soaking tub. or the incredible steam shower. Unique 30 inch gas lanterns adorn all corners of the property, This home oozes luxury and romance! Property is located just 13 minutes to downtown and Panthers Stadium, 6 minutes to The White Water Center, and 7 minutes to historic down town Belmont. You are a $6 Uber ride to the airport but not under it! You can see them fly over the other side of the lake but don't hear them which is very cool. We are not new to this business, we have owned 2 other VRBO properties on Mountain Island that are very affordable and still get 4.75on one and 5 stars on the other. Please note; if anyone in your party has mobility issues you will want to be careful considering this place. The house is positioned on a sloping lot. The front steps were constructed with boulders, there are spiral stirs to the lower level and 34 steps down to the lake.
